Herbert E. Elias, DDS

A lifelong area resident, Dr. Elias is a graduate of Penn State University and Temple University School of Dentistry, now the Kornberg School of Dentistry. As a captain in the U.S. Army, he served in San Antonio, Texas and Bamberg, Germany prior to forming Smile Dental Associates with Dr. Rubin in 1981. Dr. Elias has taken advanced training in Adult Orthodontics including Invisalign clear aligners and the PowerProx 6 Month Braces Technique in addition to many courses in both Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. Dr. Elias has been recognized by numerous Who’s Who organizations and is listed in the Guide to America’s Top Dentists.


Dr. Gene I. Rubin

Dr. Rubin is a Philadelphia native, now living in Langhorne, PA. He is a graduate of Central High School as a Barnwell Scholar and a graduate of Temple University’s undergraduate school with a degree in Psychology (1971) and Temple University School of Dentistry (1976).

Dr. Rubin has been married to wife Anita for 36 years. He has a daughter, Staci. Dr. Rubin is also an adjunct clinical instructor at Temple University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Rubin’s professional interests include continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, implants, endodontics, and sleep dentistry. Dr. Rubin’s leisure activities include golf, bowling, and travel.
